Earthen Ethics Second Edition
Over a decade ago, I became stranded in the mountainous, verdant land of the Igorot people in the isolated northern Philippines. For five years, I did my best to learn their language, make friends and home. However, my brush with their ancient cyclocentric culture — in particular in particular their ecological concept of ayyew — was enough to blow my western mind.
Today, the philosophical shockwaves continue to reverberate.
I am thrilled to announce that the second edition of the Tractatus Ayyew has arrived 🤩 Big thanks to Anang Saptoto (Connecting Design Studio) for his letterpress craftsmanship, but most of all his patience and perseverance with our relentless edits.
Co-authored by myself and Irene Angway, our first edition sold out last month. I am glad to have new stock just in time.
The new edition is more refined than ever. We’ve rooted out lingering typos, expanded the glossary, and upgraded the cover— in preparation for the upcoming release of Book 2 later this year.
